We have lots of memories of Kevin who made us very welcome when we visited the states but one of my memories is having to iron you trousers Kevin when you married Sarah. I was terrified that I would burn or damage them! Harry’s memory is of you all playing golf in Scotland with Wade, and Wade Newel.
Lots of love to you all from over the pond. RIP.

Sarah, Liam and Ryan - our hearts are hurting for you. Thinking of you and Kevin and how much he loved and was loved by you. I remember appreciating how unflappable he was. New house and two babies, no problem. Add a sister-in-law coming from England with all her kids, okay no problem. In-laws around because the sister and other grandkids were there? Fine. A friend of the sister-in-law and HER three kids coming to crash as well? Ummm, okay… but he must have wondered who else was going to come out of the woodwork! Truly I will always remember him as welcoming and holding the door open to all. All our love.

Besides you and Kevin’s wedding day, my favorite memory of Kevin is when he went to the ED for treatment of a snake bit. The triage nurse asked him why he was there for treatment? Kevin replied “for a snake bite”. Apparently the nurse was snarky and asked how he knew he was bitten by a snake? Kevin showed her his arm which was wrapped in a towel. As she continued to be snarky, Kevin unwrapped the towel from his arm, snake still attached!!! I still laugh out loud when I think of Kevin’s calm demeanor and the shock that nurse must have been in!

I know your heart is in a million pieces! I am praying for peace and grace for all of your family! I love you all!

We remember him as Fro. Lots of great scouting memories,

Day is done
Gone the Sun
From the lakes
From the hills
From the sky

All us well
Safely rest
Good is nigh

Fro, as he was affectionately known as working at Boy Scout camp in the late 70s. He had a great impact on staff members and scouts while working on the waterfront.

A great guy and a life well lived.
