KRISTA DAWN ALSTON, was born on November 6th, 1995 in Greensboro, NC to Donald “Keith” Alston and Patricia “Trish” Alston. Krista went to be with our heavenly father on January 11th, 2022, at the age of 26.
Krista attended Ragsdale High School and graduated GTCC Middle College. She was a loving mother of Emerald Kate. She enjoyed hiking and the outdoors with her boyfriend, Daniel Pittman, loved animals and enjoyed scripture canvas painting.
Krista was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, Joe Kent Alston and Gerry Smith Alston of Greensboro. Her Maternal Grandparents, Roy W Jones Sr. and Victoria Elizabeth Jones of Greensboro.
She is survived by her daughter, Emerald Kate, Parents Keith and Trish Alston of Jamestown, her sister Jessica Lauer, of Greensboro.
Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd. She will be laid to rest in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service. Her family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
