A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Boulevard, with Reverend Gene Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Lena was born in Henry County, Virginia, daughter to the late Walter and Della Webb Bishop. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and she was an avid bowler. Lena being a seamstress, made her children their clothes. She loved her family very much.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulp was preceded in death by her husband, John Fulp; brothers, Jack, Fred, Eugene and Everette Bishop and her sisters, Lois Manning and Irene Bishop. She is survived by children, Paul Fulp of Greensboro, Theresa Wicker and husband, Donald of Greensboro, Dianne Fulp of Ramseur, Cathy Garner of Greensboro; grandchildren, Lindsey Swink and husband, Dan, Amanda Wicker and great grandson, Jason Swink.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
