Lillie Jean Hunt-Marshall

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015, at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O’Henry Blvd., with Pastor Rick Yow officiating.

Lillie was born October 5, 1931, in Roberson County, Pembroke, NC. She was the third living child out of 17 children. She loved to travel, play bingo, and attend First Baptist Church. Lillie had a loving heart with a strong faith in Jesus that allowed her to become attached to a favorite verse “Psalms 23”. Lillie may have passed away, but her memory will forever stay with family and friends.

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James Leeroy Marshall; daughter, Mary Frances Bartley and her grandson David Leon Bartley. She is survived by her children, Michael Andrew Martin and his two daughters, Bree Ann and Rachel Amber Martin; Virginia Lee Tharrington and husband Clyde and their two daughters, Bridget Norwood and husband Dennis Allen, Glenda Ann Mosqueda and husband Fidel; Lillian Marie Harvell and her daughter, Kellie Lynne Harvell and boyfriend, John O’Brien; Lorene Martin Lyndon and her two daughters Angel Marie Lineberry and husband James and Krissy Lynn Beck; son-in-law, Leon Bartley (Monk) and his children, Susie Bartley, and Stevie Bartley; sister, Rosa Freeman (Tick) and her brother, Buddy Hunt (Slim). Lillie has 9 children and 3 generations of grandchildren who loved her very much.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m., Thursday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street.
