My dear Grandmother,
I will always love you and cherish our times together. You were always a tiny ball of fire. We all grew up measuring our height to you. By the time we were about 10, we had to switch to measuring our height to Pop. Sorry to say that you were not as tall as you felt.

I knew my Grandmother as kind, and generous. When we were young, they always hid candy and we would search them. She was sweet enough to almost always let Pop have it.
Grandmother, what a character! One time at Mom's house we were trying to see why the dryer was not working properly. I was looking at the vent to make sure it was not occluded and in comes a stick. Guess who was on the other end, Grandmother. I still regret not being quick enough to grab the stick and make her think it was stuck. She would have been quick enough if the roles were reversed.
When I was on the phone with my Mom, she always would yell out across the room, "I love you!" I would say back, "Right back at ya G Momma!" Those were the last words I spoke to my wonderful Grandmother while my Mom held the phone to her ear.
Grandmother came to Florida when both of our boys were born.
Grandmother was always kind and loving. I see how my Mother is such a wonderful person. It is because of her parents.
Like my brother, Randy, who spoke so beautifully at the service, I strive to be like my grandparents and my mother. I may have the wrong last name but I am totally a Nabors.
I feel like Pop met Grandmother with arms wide open.
G Momm, Right back at ya!
Love Cheryl

Though Lillie was not my grandmother, I only knew her as just that "Grandmother". She was sweet dear lady who had the love of her family surrounding her. She knew she was blessed and her family was blessed to have her in their lives. May God bless you all with wonderful memories you'll cherish forever.

Grandmother I love you and I am going to miss you so much. Thank you for loving me and Randy but most of all I will never forget how much you loved Jacob. You and Jacob will always have a special bond. I think God that he gave me such a special person to be in my life. I love you.Becky
