Mrs. Lillie Gregory Wrenn

Mrs. Lillie Gregory Wrenn, 88, a resident of Greensboro, died Monday April 25, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Mrs. Wrenn was born November 9, 1922, in Harmony, NC, a daughter of William and Daisy Fraley Gregory. She had worked as a sales clerk with the Thalhiemers and Jordan Marsh retail stores and was a member of Glenwood Friends Meeting.

On September 14, 1943, she was married to Pinkney Allen Wrenn who preceded her in death on April 5, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, William Leslie Wrenn. Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca “Annette” Cline and husband Robert of Greensboro; one son, Sidney “Sid” Allen Wrenn and wife Ann of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Amy O’Dell and husband Jeff, Scott Cline, Paul Cline and wife Leslie and three great grandchildren, Alex Lynn O’Dell, Tyson Wrenn O’Dell and Declan Brown Cline.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by the Reverend Mike Barrett. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
