Linda Latta Barber

Linda Latta Barber, 80, of Randleman, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026, with her husband of 30 years Thomas Barber by her side. She was born on May 30, 1945, in Durham County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Howard and Lila Johnson Latta.

She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company and enjoyed going to the lake with her husband. Linda had a smile that would brighten up the room and was a caregiver dedicated to helping her family in any way possible. She will be remembered most by always thinking of others no matter what situation she was in.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters; Pamala Latta Groseclose and Patricia Latta Gray.

Linda is survived by husband Thomas Barber, daughter Alicia Hausler (Stuart), son Kelly Pridgen and grandson Justin Pridgen who brought her so much happiness.

We have lost a special lady, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026, Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
