Linda was one of my closest friends for over 50 years.  We shared all the things friends share and I will miss her, her energy, her intelligence, her love of life.  Linda lived shagging, parties, entertaining, the beach, and was a fashion icon of first caliber.  I know you are happy, having fun, and pain free now.  I love you and always will.  Remember, YOU will always be 6 months older than me.  Rick, I love you too and know that time and friends will help you through this difficult time.

 Linda was a very good friend of Jim and Marian Cook for over 35 years,  while we were living in Greensboro, NC. We moved to Waynesboro, Va and our paths didn’t cross as often then. We met her at a friend’s house in 1978 and really enjoyed our friendship, took trips together and shared many memories together. She was a very good friend and we shared going to auctions and had a lot of fun time together. She was a great friend and we will really miss her. This is a very sad time for her family and us.
