Linda Mae Mahalik

She was born on September 30, 1947, in High Point NC to the late John Mahalik and Evelyn (Fosberry) Costello

Linda was a graduate of Ragsdale High School Class of 1965 and worked for United Guaranty of Greensboro NC for 35 + years as a valued leader in the HR department before retiring. A free spirit, and lover of all things artsy, Linda had a love of music, movies, reading, and spending weekends with friends around the pool and cooking out with neighbors. That love was second only to love she had for her furry babies Lancer, Brewster, Maggie, and Izzy. During her life she also enjoyed painting, writing poetry and song, playing the Guitar, Sudoku and anything else that would challenge her creative mind. She also loved her sporty cars which were immaculate as well. She was devoted to her family and close friends, and always a source of inspiration and love. Her beautiful uniquely wrapped Christmas presents were also a labor of love for her, and will be missed by all.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving sister Dianne M Mansfield of Carlisle Pa, and is survived by Sister Marie (Costello) Meeks of Tarboro NC, Neice Lisa A. (Mansfield) Joyce of Anderson IN , Nephews Kenneth W. Mansfield, and Jeff W. Mansfield of Carlisle PA and Great Neice Savannah Mansfield of Ritman OH, And Great Nephew Christopher D. Mansfield of Carlisle PA.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday June 14, 2025 at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Randall Collins.
