Linda was born in Caryville, TN, the daughter of James and Ethel Turner Ward. She was employed at Moses Cone Hospital and retired after 27 years of service.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Don (Gene) Talbott of the home; daughter Shelley Luker of Bell Buckle, TN; sister, Mae Shelton of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Fred Ward of Clarksville, TN and Ray Ward of Dover, TN; two grandsons, Brian Williams and Robert Luker and four great grandchildren.
