Lindsay M. Fritz, 81, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem, NC. He was born on July 31, 1939 in Guilford County, the son of William and Donna Ree Beane Fritz. He worked at Thomasville Furniture and retired after 19 years of service.
Lindsay was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. Lindsay loved to talk and he always placed his family first and any time he could spent with them he cherished.
Lindsay had this God given talent that allowed him to write poetry; not just a few, but hundreds. He also could compose and write gospel songs.
Lindsay was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Fritz. Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Doris (Sue) Fritz of the home; son Kevin Fritz (Cathy); daughter, Melanie Jones (Clyde); grandchildren; Ashely Fritz, Zachary Smith (Heather), Taylor Smith, Bryson Smith, Josh Worthington and Tabitha, Mercedes Williams, Blake and Victor; nephew, Billy Fritz(Kim); great grandchildren; Zaine, Oaklyn, Nolan, Levi, Damoni, Nautica, and Alayna.
A Celebration of Lindsay's life will be held on Wednesday June 9th, 12:00 noon at Lawndale Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
