Mr. Lloyd Kidd

Mr. Lloyd Kidd, 72, of 3914 Madison Ave., died Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at Wesley Long Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Kidd will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2003, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Butch Sherrill offciating. Burial will be in Whites Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.

A native of Randolph County, Mr. Kidd was born November 21, 1931, to the late William Alton and Nellie Cook Kidd. Mr. Kidd was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War and a former motel owner and manager. His son, Arnold Thomas Kidd, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Kidd of the home; daughters, Cheryl Diane Kidd and husband, George Cornett of Greensboro, Kelly Kidd Cullers and husband, John Jeffrey Cullers of Dubuque, Iowa; son, Kenneth Stewart Kidd of Helsinki, Finland; sister-in-law, Ann Hamilton Stewart of the home; grandchildren, Jack, Justin, Sara and Emma Cullers.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
