Lois had a caring heart for her children and grandchildren. She loved them more than life itself. Lois had a close relationship with God and started every morning with a devotional. She taught a Sunday school class for divorced and single women for years at Hunter Hills Baptist Church. Lois graduated from business college after high school and went to work for Pilot Life Insurance Company until her first child was born. She lovingly gave up a promising career to be a stay at home mom . Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was involved in every aspect of her family’s life. She was the grounding faith that her family lives by today. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Inez Gregory.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years, Larry Baker; daughters, Bonnie Arnold (David) and Kimberly Baker; grandchildren, Joshua and Ashlyn Welch, Hanna Arnold, and Justin and Adam Whitestone.
Lois was under hospice care at home where she was surrounded by family, friends, and the most caring caregivers. She left this earthly realm peacefully and gracefully. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
