Lois B. Bowen Taylor

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Immanuel Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Shining Light Baptist Church.

Lois was born December 20, 1926 in Bladenboro, NC to the late Eddie and Minnie Bowen. She lived in Greensboro, and worked at Justice Drugs until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and Ellis G. Taylor, Ronald D. Jackson, James Bowen, Charles Bowen, Barbara Phillips, and Lee Osborne.

Survivors include, her children Phyllis Taylor of Whitsett, NC, John Taylor and wife Sue of Greensboro, Sandra Taylor of Whitsett, NC, Kelly Taylor and husband Lewis of Pleasant Garden, NC; grandchildren, Larry Osborne, Misty Brooks, Colter Taylor, Tabatha Brooks, Angela Taylor Hines, Brittney Marsh, and Heather Taylor; six great grandsons; siblings, Alfreda McLamb, Rose Davis, Betty Brisson, Linda Hester and Ada Monroe.

The family will meet with friends on Monday, January 24, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405 in memory of Lois.
