Lori was born on September 24, 1951, in Greensboro, NC. The middle child to Allen and Lorene Clewis, she grew up in Greensboro and Graduated from Grimsley High School, then continued her education at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
A loving wife to Al Eaton, they married in 1979 and raised three daughters: Allison, Meredith, and Stephanie.
A lover of music and a devoted mother, Lori cherished family gatherings and always made the holidays special. Her laugh was contagious.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, and two granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Keeley Park Garden Shelter located at 4100 Keeley Rd. McLeansville, NC 27301. (The first entrance off Keeley Road.) Friends and family are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Hospice of North Carolina in Lori’s memory.
