Lorraine "Honey" Stinson

Lorraine “Honey” Stinson, age 96, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Cone Hospital. Lorraine was a homemaker and sold Avon for 60+ years. She loved to read, was a member of Cathedral of Praise for 33 years and enjoyed her cat Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Wesley Stinson, parents Linwood and Lena Satterfield, brother Roy, three sisters; Lena Mae Lee, Iris Shook and Josephine, two stepsons; Ronnie Stinson and Jim Shinn.

Honey is survived by sister Ann Allen, children; Wesley Stinson (Joann), Diane Minter, Terri Stinson, three stepchildren Donnie Stinson, Linda Lamendola (Conrad), Kay Bovee, fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside will be 10:00 am on Thursday, September 10, 2026, Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Guilford County Animal Shelter or your favorite charity.
