Lorraine Murdock Taylor

Lorraine Murdock Taylor, 68, of Greensboro, NC, passed away on November 5, 2025. She endured a six-year battle with cancer, which she handled with grace and a positive attitude. Lorraine was born on March 8, 1957, in Statesville, NC, a daughter of the late Grady Murdock and Alma Murdock, who survives her.

She loved the Lord and was dedicated to her family whom she loved dearly.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bobby Taylor, Sr.; her sons, Bobby Taylor, Jr. (Laura) and Michael Taylor (Melissa); her grandchildren, Hazel, Roy, and Chandler; and her sisters, Rosemary Alexander (Charlie) and Christine Osborne (Rod). She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Murdock (infant), Randy Murdock, and Jerry Murdock.

A private graveside service will be held in her hometown of Troutman, NC, at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
