A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Parkway Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service at church.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, William Jefferson Melvin II and husband, Leonard Holmes; son Anthony Keith Melvin; and all of her siblings.
She is survived by daughter, Charlotte Melvin Studebaker; sons, William Jefferson Melvin III and wife Rebecca and Mack K. Melvin and wife Marianne; five grandchildren, Jeff, Ed, Julie, Angell and Wendy; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 1411 Benjamin Parkway, Greensboro, NC 27408.
