A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Hope Cemetery in Bonlee, NC. Mrs. Smith will lie-in-state at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel from 2:00 until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Orange County but, spent most of her life in Greensboro. She retired from AT&T after 35 years of employment and remained a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Young at Heart. Louise was an active member of Westside Chapel for many years.
She is survived by her son Boyd Smith; grandchildren, Bruce and Lisa Smith; and great-grandchildren, Haley and Calliope Smith.
