Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Rd., in Greensboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1 until 2 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carrier was born in Guilford County to the late Thomas and Jennie Freeman. She was a member of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church and retired from the IRS after 30 years of service.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Frank A. Carrier; sisters, Maxine Yarbrough and Phyllis Younts; brother, Eldon Freeman; and other extended family.
