Marc Donald Beattie

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Marc Donald Beattie, age 49, of Greensboro, NC, on June 13, 2026. He was born on December 30, 1976, in Ft. Myers, FL, to Robert & Debra Beattie.

Marc's desire to help others led him to the field of dentistry which included multiple mission trips around the world. His career started as a Captain in the Army where he served from 2004-2008. He opened his first dental practice in Naples, FL. The family later relocated to Greensboro, NC in 2017, where he continued his dental career.

He loved to travel, spending a year in Australia and New Zealand with his family. In 2021 he completed the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain via the French Way and the Portuguese Way in 2023.

He expressed his intelligence in his sense of humor, often making references and connections to things he loved including music, pop culture, and movies. His knowledge of media gave him an uncanny knack to match lyrics in songs to current situations.

Marc is survived by his parents Robert & Debra, wife Jennifer, 3 children Clarissa, Cameron & Caitlyn; brother Rob (Jennifer), sister Elena Levatino (Michael).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church followed by a reception in the Simmons Parish Center, 2210 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27408.
