Margaret Mary Blank Preyer, 77, passed away Friday, February, 16, 2018. The family will receive friends in The Virginia Gilmer Room of First Presbyterian Church from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on Friday, February 23rd, 2018. Please use the entrance at 708 Green St. The family will gather at 3:00 pm for a private inurnment at Green Hill Cemetery where Margaret will rest beside her husband of 44 years, Fred Preyer.
Margaret was born April 1, 1940, in Gainesville, Florida to the late Dr. Henry Blank and Catherine Stokes Blank. Margaret is survived by her son, Adam Preyer, twin granddaughters, Emily and Olivia Preyer, sister, Mary (Laroy) Paulson, niece, Camille (Jon) Halvorsen, nephews, Andrew and Peter Solares.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
