Margaret Eva (Haynes) Teague

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. Following the services she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the funeral service at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2:00 pm.

Born December 15, 1931 in Guilford County to the late Curnal Francis Haynes and Louise Geneva Smith Haynes, Margaret was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church in Greensboro. She worked for the Guilford County Health Department for 27 ½ years. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, The Basha Steed Circle at Christ Wesleyan Church, enjoyed making Chrismons at Christmas and having “tea parties” with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure in life was spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her adoring husband of 65 years, Ralph Lee Teague, Sr. and a son, Ralph Lee Teague, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Luanne Teague of Archdale and Jon Teague (Cheryl Murphy) of Thomasville; a sister-in-law, Annie Haynes of Kernersville; grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Kindley (Daniel) and Nathan Teague; great-grandchildren, Brandon Teague, Braxton Teague, Claudia Kindley and Lillian Kindley; and other extended family and friends.
