Marian Faircloth Cook

Marian Faircloth Cook, 87, of Greensboro passed away on September 7, 2021. A graveside service will be at 11 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Guilford Memorial Park with Pastor Don Clement officiating. Marian was born in Cumberland County, NC to the late William Stanford and Lilly Gertrude Faircloth. She met her husband, Martin Luther Cook in high school and married in 1954. He preceded her in death in 2002. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed sharing time together with them over a good home cooked meal.

Surviving are her children Greg Cook of Summerfield and Catherine Cook of Greensboro; grandchildren, Sydney Cook, Jessica Henley and Crystal Watts; and brothers, M.S. Faircloth and wife Virginia of Hope Mills and Allen Faircloth and wife Wanda of Lumberton, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, three siblings, daughter Audrey Cook (2012) and granddaughter, Melissa Henley (2018) preceded her in death.
