Mrs. Marilyn Meggs Lewis, 82, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Sunday February 28, 2016. Marilyn was born June 22, 1933 in Clarkton, NC, the daughter of late Walker M. and Hazel Bullard Meggs.
Marliyn was preceded in death by her husband James E. “Sonny” Lewis.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Lewis Scott of Raleigh, Kim Lewis Cobb and husband Jim of Jamestown; grandsons, Elliott and Alec; sister, Opal Smith and brother, Norwood Meggs both of Clarkton.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Jamestown Presbyterian Church where she was an active member conducted by the Reverend Dr. Jay Smith and Reverend Newton Cowan.. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
