He was born Nov.2, 1939 in Troy, N.C., a son of the late Moise “Moe” Outlaw of Santee, SC and the late Mable K Johnson of Columbia, S.C.
Raised in Sumter, he was a graduate Edmunds High School. Bud graduated from Wingate University and the University of Georgia. Bud loved his Georgia Bulldogs!
He is survived by sister Betty Jean “Outlaw” Hollingsworth of Florence, SC, his very special friend Rebecca “Becky” Grammer of Oakridge, NC, a Niece, Bambi (Bruce) Bailey of Florence, S.C. Nephew, David Hollingsworth of Evansville, IN , and several great-Nieces and a great-Nephew who adored their Uncle Bud!
Bud asked Memorials to be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
