Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Cooley, her mother Gloria Barbee, sister Lori Odell, and brother Mike Odell. She is survived by her sister, Lynn Fowler (Frank), daughter Penny Loschin (John), son Corey Cooley (Stephanie) and her adored grandchildren Nicholas Loschin, Ainsley Cooley, and Ryland Cooley.
Marsha was a licensed beautician whose career spanned many years, working at various salons before opening her own beauty shop.
She dedicated a portion of her life as a Teacher Assistant with the Guilford County School System. Her patience and caring nature made her a cherished part of the school community.
Marsha found joy in her gardens and plants, having a true green thumb. She enjoyed painting and cross stitching, making each piece a reflection of her talent and love for the artistic world.
Now after a life well lived, she has reunited with the love of her life, “Bobby”.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Association and Alzheimer’s Association.
A celebration of life service for Marsha will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Guilford College United Methodist Church, 1205 Fleming Road, Greensboro, North Carolina. A visitation with reception will follow the service.
Thank you to everyone that helped Marsha during her time of need and showered her with abundant love and support. From the staff at Heritage Greens to members of GCUM Church, her Sunday School Class to friends, co-workers, and family. Your thoughts, prayers, outpouring of love and concern for Marsha has been overwhelming and heartfelt.
