Martha was born December 28, 1937, in Chickamauga, Georgia, to the late Melvin Cody Mann and Clarkie Mae Plaster Mann. She graduated from Greensboro High School, worked as an ASA Agent for United Airlines for 21 years and her favorite pastime was quilting. Martha was a member of Deep River Church of Christ and had a passion for helping others, including stray animals. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George E. Keneipp, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Carolyn Jean Keneipp Kang (Stephan); granddaughter, Stephanie Kang; sister, Carolyn M. Baker (James); brother, Michael Pritchett (Kerrie); and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
It comes as no surprise, knowing Martha’s giving nature, that her last request was to donate her body to science.
A memorial service celebrating Martha’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Deep River Church of Christ, 2067 Deep River Road, High Point, NC 27265.
