Mary Rose Cramer

Mary Rose Cramer, 91, daughter of Roscoe E. and Clara Boling Bechtel of Knox County, Indiana died September 24, 2017 at Pennybyrn at Maryfield Retirement Community in Greensboro, NC. Her life will be celebrated at 2 PM, Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Neal & Summers Funeral Home in Martinsville, IN. The family will receive friends from 12 PM to 2 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Nebo Memorial Park in Martinsville.

She enjoyed her work as executive secretary for a number of years with Otis Elevator but being a wife, mother and homemaker was her true calling and pleasure. Mary was an avid golfer and member of the Martinsville Country Club and Martinsville Ladies’ Golf Association. She was also a member of the Homemaker’s Extension. Mary kept very active mentally and physically and enjoyed walking, hiking, bridge and reading. She believed mental health was as important as physical health and was extremely knowledgeable regarding current events. She spent the last 40 years, first as a part-time and later as a full-time resident in the Clearwater, FL area.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Constance M. Reklau and husband David of Greensboro, NC and Danita Morgan Mason and husband David of Paragon, IN; sister, Eva Nunn; grandchildren, Scott Morgan, Mathew Reklau (Heather), Timothy Reklau (Gabby), Elisabeth Reklau, James Stanley (Cindy), Melissa Meade, Eric Meade (Mary Ann), William Heath (Cindy), Heather Smith (Jason), and Jeff Wirey; great grandchildren, Andrea, Cody and Carolyn Wirey, Corey Morgan, Braden and Olivia Reklau, Alicia Griffith (Dakota), Makayla Sargent, Devon, Carson and Landon Heath , and Evan and Lauren Smith; great-great grandchildren, Dierks and Dayton Griffith; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Cramer, son, Louis Morgan, daughter, Rita Rossiter, granddaughter, Angela Wirey and six siblings.
