Mrs. Mary Hutcherson Hall

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel, 900 W. Vandalia Rd., where she was in fellowship for 34 years. The service will be officiated by The Reverend Mark Shelley. A private committal service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mary was born to Sally (née Crews) and James Richard Hutcherson on April 29, 1910. She spent her early years in Eden and retired from Ellis Stone Department Store (now Macy’s) in Greensboro with 25 years of service.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clifford Gorrell Hall, their son, Charles M. “Pete” Hall, brothers; George, Harry, Robert, Marvin, and Thomas, and sisters; Etta Griffin and Minnie Hall.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her son, Richard L. Hall and wife, Shirley of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter, Beverly H. Cox and husband, Joe of Greensboro, sister, Ruth DeCarlo of Eden, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson.

Mary led a quiet life, through which she served her Lord by loving others.

The family expresses their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Camden Place for their loving care given to our mother and grandmother.
