Mary Mildred McMillan

Mrs. McMillan was born October 17, 1948 in Ararat, VA the daughter of Rufus Garland and Ida Lee Throckmorton Spencer. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Myrtle Spencer Tilley, Lettie Spencer; brothers, Billy, Paul and Thomas Spencer.

On June 12, 1964 she was married to Hampton Eugene McMillan who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home is one son, Gene McMillan and wife Diane of South Riding, VA; two sisters, June Spencer Gaines and husband Charles of Greensboro, Ruth Spencer Cloninger and husband James of Franklinville; one brother, Layton Spencer and wife Brenda of Stokesdale and four grandchildren, Benjamin and Joshua McMillan and Nicholas and Ian Reilly.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407 with Reverend Jimmy Dillon officiating. The family will receive friends at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
