Mrs. Mary Jane Porosky, 91, a resident of Jamestown died Wednesday morning July 24, 2013 at High Point Regional Hospital. Mrs. Porosky was born July 20, 1922 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Melvin and Inez Machamer Heller. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas John Porosky and a brother, Dean Heller.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, John Joseph Porosky of the home and one son, Jeffrey Scott Porosky of the home.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by Reverend Dr. Jay D. Smith. Mrs. Porosky will remain at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel.
