Mary Elizabeth Stilwell

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Central United Methodist Church, 6030 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte.

Mary retired as an officer of Ford, Elliot and White in Charlotte after 45 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Central United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher, Treasurer, Communion Steward and member of Circles 5 and 1. After relocating to Jamestown, she attended Jamestown United Methodist Church. Mary loved life and enjoyed travel, bridge, and many social clubs.

Ms. Stilwell was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Myrtle Stilwell; sister, Betty Womack and brother, Carson Stilwell. She is survived by her nephew, Ben Womack and his wife, Betty and their sons, Berkley and Barton. Also surviving are numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m., Sunday, November 12th at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Boulevard.
