

Mrs. Mary Ann Truitt, 75, a resident of High Point passed away Friday April 10, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Truitt was born June 24, 1939 in Burlington, the daughter of Harvey L. and Essie Mae Johnson Kellam.
Mary was employed for 27 years with the Mitchell’s Grove Day Care. She was a dedicated Christian and member of Jamestown Church of God.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Timothy Ray Truitt and her brother, Howard Kellam.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Truitt of the home; her daughter, Lisa Truitt Hogue and husband Chad also of the home; her sister, Edith K. Caudill and husband Paul of Burlington; five grandchildren, Ashley Truitt, Christina Truitt, Matthew, Jacob and Isaiah Hogue and one great grandchild granddaughter, Raeleigh Kenney.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Jamestown Church of God conducted by Pastor Tony Cruthis. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel is serving the Truitt family.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested for Mr. Truitt to assist in his needed efforts.
