

Mildred Catharine “Teet” King, 77, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Monday August 14, 2017. She was born April 22, 1940 in Wilkes County the daughter of Ottis Calvin and Alma May Blevins Welborn.
“Teet” was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty W. “Tut” Johnson, Nancy W. Gray; one brother, Bill Welborn and a son-in-law, Joey Bradshaw.
She was married to Buford Burwell King who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband Buford Burwell King are three daughters, Becky Bradshaw of Summerfield, Cathy Winebarger and husband Dean of Greensboro, Wanda King of McLeansville; three sons; Brad King and wife Julie, Richard King, Ron King all of Greensboro; one sister, Alma Jean “Bug” Wells and husband Jack of Wilkes County; one brother, Tommy Welborn and wife Sherry of Wilkes County and four grandchildren, Brian King, Nick King, Chad Bradshaw, Brooke King and Joshua King
.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews; David Johnson, Rodney Wells, Stacy Wells, Ray Welborn, Steve Welborn and Keith Gray.
