Mildred Ann Dean Privette, 82, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Monday October 2, 2023. She was born February 8, 1941 in Austinville, Virginia, the daughter of John Easter and Iva McDowell Arnold Dean.
Mildred was a member of Life Community Church.
She was married to Blandy Willard Privette, Sr. who preceded her in death on July 29, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Scott Privette; two sisters, Glenna D. McCandless, Juanita D. LaFollette and four brothers, James Dean, John Dean, Paul Dean and Dewey Dean.
Surviving are her daughter, Cindy Rosenthal Privette of Greensboro; her son, Blandy Willard Privette, Jr. of Greensboro; sisters, Barbara D. Andrews of Jamestown, Judith “Judy” D. Fisher of Greensboro and two grandchildren, Grant Scott Privette and Ashton Nicole Rosenthal.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday October 14, 2023 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mildred’s memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
