A graveside service will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Hebrew Cemetery by Rabbi Joshua Bin-gideon.
Miriam was born September 25, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Herman Titleman and Pearl Levitsky Titleman.
Miriam was married to the love of her life, Sammy Anflick, and together they owned Sammy’s on Lawndale Drive. Miriam was the strength behind Sammy’s and could be found in the kitchen making her famous chicken salad and chopped liver specialties. Along with Sammy’s musical talents, Miriam was the soul of the business with her spunky, full of life and witty personality. She loved to cook and was an avid Food Network fan. She loved music and singing which created a special bond with her husband and their restaurant. Most of all, Miriam enjoyed spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judi Bleiberg, her son, Lee Anflick and wife Jamie, all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Jason and Byrni Bleiberg, Jacob Anflick and wife Sara, Phillip, Frank and wife Lisa Rancer; great grandchildren, Holden and Sandi Bleiberg and Callie, Caden and Katherine Rancer.
The family requests with gratitude that memorials in Miriam’s name be made to Beth David Synagogue, 804 Winview Drive, Greensboro, NC 27410.
