Nell Fern Jackson Boyd

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.

She was born on January 26, 1946, in Richlands, VA, to the late William Jackson and Elizabeth Butcher Jackson. Fern was a loving and devoted mother, sister and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Claude Jackson, Benny Jackson, and Billy Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, David Boyd of Sanford, NC; sisters, Peggy Reese of Gibsonville, NC, Ruth Campagna (Vince) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Jo Brown (Jim) of Greensboro, NC, and Wanda Martin of Randleman, NC; and other extended family and friends.
