

Parrish "Dre" Hopkins, 55, of High Point, North Carolina, passed away on June 11, 2026. Born on January 15, 1971, in Lexington, North Carolina, Parrish brought joy and warmth to all who knew him throughout his life.
Parrish was known for his infectious personality—his biggest smile and loudest laugh could light up any room. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people and never met a stranger. His love for fishing was one of his greatest passions, offering him moments of peace and joy by the water.
He is survived by his loving wife, Misty Lynne Hopkins; his children: Devonte Wakeman, Andrea Hopkins, and Parrish Hopkins II. Parrish was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Jean Davis Hopkins and father James Vacher Hopkins. Siblings – Vachery Hopkins, Katrice Hopkins, Barry Hopkins, Pierritte Hopkins, Gary Wilson and a lot more family and friends.
Parrish's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his laughter echo in their memories and bring comfort during this time of loss.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 27 from 10 to 11 am followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 am at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 North O’Henry Boulevard, Greensboro, NC.
