Patricia Lupo

Miss Patricia Lupo, 84, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at Wesley Long Community Hospital. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 3 at Christ United Methodist Church where she was a long time member. Burial will be at 4:00 PM in Graceland Cemetery, Greenville, SC.

A native of Greenville, SC, Miss Lupo was the daughter of Arthur LeRoy and Effie Allen Lupo. Her sister, Emmy Lupo, passed away when Pat was 8 years old. Pat graduated from Furman University and was an active participant in alumni affairs. She was Chair of the Spanish Department at Walter Hines Page High School where she taught Spanish during her working years. Pat was a member of Honorary Sorority of Alpha Delta Kappa – Fidelis Chapter and member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Pat is survived by her friends at Christ United Methodist Church and Heritage Greens and her beloved cat, Mandy. Her active life enhanced the lives of others by being a member of the CUMC Asbury Sunday School Class, Circle 7, Prime Timers, Chancel Choir, Friends Sharing Group and member/past president of United Methodist Women.

Friends are invited after the service to remember Pat and her life in the church gathering space.
