Patrick "Pat" Thomas Brennan

Patrick Thomas Brennan, 61, of Jamestown, went to be with the lord, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at his home in Jamestown, NC. Pat lived a life full of love and laughter and spent his days with his family, whom he adored. He had a smile that was so incredibly contagious and filled every room he entered with such a profound presence, everyone who knew him said that he had a larger than life presence. He will truly be missed by everyone that has the pleasure of knowing him.

Born October 3, 1957, in Huntsville, Alabama. He was the son of the late James David Brennan and Jane Elizabeth Murphy Brennan of -Tuscarora, PA. He graduated from Marion Catholic High School (Tamaqua, Pennsylvania) in 1975. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he received a full scholarship for football to represent the UCONN Huskies as a defensive lineman. He quickly lived up to the reputation he had earned in his hometown as he dominated the gridiron with his unique style of athleticism and physical prowess. He would spend his collegiate career mastering his craft on the field (CRUSHING IT) with his name attached to the history of the school as one of UCONN's all-time letter winners along with earning his bachelor's degree in business administration.

Patrick was a logistics manager for Roadway whom he proudly gave more than 20 years of loyal service. He would end his career in service to AmeriFleet.

Pat was preceded in death by his father, James David Brennan. Those left to cherish Mr. Brennan's memory are wife Deeann Gullo Brennan, sons Sean Patrick Brennan (Megan Pennell) of Greensboro, James Collin Brennan of Jamestown; daughter Nancy Jolene Brennan of Jamestown; Mother, Jane Elizabeth Brennan, sister Karen Brennan of Tuscarora, PA; Mother-in-law Nancy Gullo; Brothers-in-law Sandy Gullo (Carolina Gullo) and Steve Gullo of Daytona Beach, FL . As well as a number of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Service: The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m on Sunday May 5th, 2019 at a gathering of Family and Friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel 6000 W Gate City Blvd Greensboro, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 a.m. on June 4th at Holy Catholic Church in New Philadelphia presided over by his cousin, Msgr. Thomas Baddick, with scriptures and song by his cousin Sister Lisa Marie Valentini, MSC. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.

I was best buds with Pat from grade school until 11th grade.(he moved)
We fished together, played basketball, went bowling,movies, Mostly just hung out at his house.His parents made me feel at home always..sometimes his dad
made his famous home made pizzas.i STILL remember those!!.lol..
After many years I finally got in touch, and we would call each other during Eagles games..we promised to continue..but we didn't..you know how that goes.
Anyway, I extend my condolences to all.

Sincere condolences to the family of Patrick. I attended Marian High School with Patrick, and we graduated together in 1975. What a nice man. Excellent athlete, and even better human being. And judging by the photos posted, an excellent family man. Rest in peace my friend.
