Patsy Anne Curl

Patsy A. Curl, 81 surrounded by her loving family, friends and her faithful service dog, Mason, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday September 26th, 2023, while resting peacefully in her home.

A dedicated mother of three, grandmother of 19 and great grandmother of 21, she enjoyed spending her time at the beach and fishing. Her fun-loving and comical ways could brighten any room and will surely be missed.

Born in Greensboro, North Carolina on October 25th, 1941, Patsy grew up with a thirst for knowledge, a love for the written word and a deep appreciation for family. Her infectious love of life spilled over into her talent for horticulture. Her ability to nurture and care translated into the family she cultivated. Born to James Henry Heath and Praise Lavaille Patterson, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Dixon Curl, and sister, Daisy Beal.

Surviving to carry on her legacy are her three daughters Renee Frantz, (Climax), Karen Wood with her husband Ronnie Wood, (Pleasant Garden), and Angela Jones with her husband Brian Jones, (Greensboro). Her loving family of sisters and brothers also live on to remember their devoted sister, Jimmy Heath and his wife Judy, Martha Young, Debbie Long and her husband Jimmy, Cheryl Davis and her husband Gary, and Ricky Heath with his wife Jennifer.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday September 29th, 2023, beginning at 2:00 p.m. located at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Boulevard Greensboro, North Carolina.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Flowers may be sent to Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel or donations can be made in her honor to Hospice of Guilford County.
