Paul Wayne Williamson

Paul Wayne Williamson, 82, a resident of Greensboro passed away on Tuesday June 16, 2026, at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. He was born on September 18, 1943, in Guilford County, the son of Paul B. and Rosie Edith Williamson.

He went to Central Jr. High and graduated from Lindley High School. Paul worked with Metal Creations in High Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jesse Lee Williamson.

Paul was married to Janie Greer Williamson who survives of the home. Also surviving are one daughter, Patty Williamson Bolen of Greensboro; one son, Paul Wesley Williamson of Greensboro; one sister, Barbara Ann Williamson Beasley of Greensboro and two grandchildren, Hanna Renee Bolen and Paul Ryan Bolen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 20, 2026, in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Terry Lynn Whitaker. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Following the committal services at Guilford Memorial Park, everyone is invited to a meal and fellowship at the New Horizon Church of the Nazarene 4221 Randleman Road, Greensboro, NC 27406
