She was a remarkable woman whose love, strength, and wisdom shaped generations of our family. Her stories, her laughter, and her gentle guidance will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in each of us.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garlan, daughter, Lavonne, two brothers: Charlie and Jimmy, and her sister, Gilda. Left to cherish Paulines’ memory are her son and daughter in law, George "Buster" and Kim Kasey, son in law, Dale Lee, four grandchildren: George III (Heather), Steven, Shannon, and Kathy. Six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Though we are heartbroken, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with the loved ones who went before her, and we will see her again one day.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Authoracare Collective or Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
A graveside service for Pauline will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Sharon Lee officiating, at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro, North Carolina 27410.
