She graduated from Reynolds High School and attended Linden Hall Junior College in Pennsylvania. In 1952 after a fast courtship, she married Henry Tager, her prince, and they settled in Durham where they had four beautiful children. She helped Henry in their business, The Hub Ltd, for many years until his untimely passing in 1997.
In 1963 Peggy and Henry moved to Greensboro where Peggy was a very active member of many organizations including the Greensboro Symphony Guild. She enjoyed being a bowler for over 50 years in many different leagues.
Peggy is survived by her children, Kent Tager (Kathi-Luise), Karen Tager Rivo (Marc), Kirk Tager, and Keith Tager; granddaughters Jessica Rivo (David) and Julie Cordeiro Rivo (Jhon) as well as great granddaughters Ayla Malka and Liel Antonia.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday January 24, 2025 in the chapel of Temple Emanuel, 1129 Jefferson Rd., Greensboro, NC. Burial will follow in the Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery.
