Peggy Waller

Funeral services will be held today, at 12:00 noon at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with Rev. Brad Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends prior to the service at 11:00 am with refreshments.

She was born in Yadkin County, NC the daughter of the late George and Geneva Davis Cornelison. She worked for P. Lorillard for over 42 years. She was a longtime member of Northern Guilford Baptist Church where she was faithful and cheerful giver. She loved traveling, shopping and gardening.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carol Waller and sisters Bonnie C. Lewis and Helen Culclasure. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Lawrence Waller; honorary grandsons, Michael Shawn Melton and Marcus Alan Melton; nephew and special friend Marvin Durant Lewis, Jr. ; nephew Riley Davis Culclasure, niece Charlene Peters; special sister-in-law Mozelle Sale; special friend Audrey Denny.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Greensboro and nurse Laurel Dawson for their compassionate and loving care given to Mrs. Waller and to Jerry Norris for providing respite care.
