Born on December 27, 1930, in Dorothy, West Virginia, to the late Harold C. Kirk and Alice S. Carnes, Peggy worked for the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan for several years. She lived in many different states through the years, West Virginia, Belleville Michigan, Media Pennsylvania, South Padre Texas, Nashville Tennessee, and Greensboro, North Carolina and enjoyed decorating her various homes. She was the 2nd runner up in the Ms. Senior North Carolina pageant in her mid-80’s. Peggy loved singing and reading good books. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill G. Jarrell of Media, Pennsylvania and her second husband, Bruce D. Willis of Belleville, Michigan; 4 sisters, Helen Faye O’Dell, Margie Ratliff, Midge Chavez, and Dixie Bryant; and a brother, Ernest Peters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, William Jarrell (Jill) of Jamestown, North Carolina; granddaughters, Elizabeth Mooneyham and Katherine Liebner; great-granddaughters, Julia Mooneyham and Lindsey Beckman; great-grandson, Cameron Mooneyham and other extended family members and friends.
