Peggy Davis Winney, age 70, of Buford, GA and former resident of Greensboro passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Winney; parents, Harold and Nancy Davis.
She is survived by her brother, Phil (Carol) Davis, Atlanta, GA; nieces Qui (Todd) Nidey, Fayetteville, GA, Cason Davis, Cumming, GA; great-nieces, Aspen, and Tsali Nidey, Arkady, Emery, Aquilla Zarro; also many loved cousins and friends. Mrs. Winney was born on May 29, 1952 in Greensboro, NC. She enjoyed her job as a self-employed massage therapist. She touched a lot of lives.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will be in Guilford Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
