Pete was a devoted husband, dad, brother, and friend. After earning his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, he went on to become the Vice President and Co-Owner of a logistics company with his brother John.
Outside of work, he liked playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He also had a dog, Dude, who was always by his side. Destin, Florida and the Pacific North West were his favorite places to get away, and he cherished the time spent there.
He leaves behind his wife, Tina Schumacher (Quirk); his daughters, Liza Schumacher (Michael Ryder) and Chloe Schumacher; and his siblings, Chris (Tawnya) Schumacher, Andrea Sheeter, Liza (Tom) Hall, Amy (Albert) Hill, and John (Kim) Schumacher, along with his many nieces and nephews. Pete also had a tight-knit group of friends going back to grade school, and over the years they turned into family.
Pete will be remembered for his generosity, quick witted sense of humor, his love of music and the open road, and how much he showed up for his family. He'll be missed by everyone who knew him.
Celebration of life arrangements will be announced at a later date.
