Mark Moore passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bealer and Nell Moore of Belews Creek. Mark is survived by his wife, Kathryn Moore; daughter, Abbey Powers; son, Brian Moore; stepchildren, Robert and Marcie Haines and Rick and Laura Schuler, along with his sisters, Gwen Moore and Cyndi Moore. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Gage, Joe, Ellie, Eli, Madelyn, Sarah, and Jacob, and one great-grandchild, Ellie.
Mark was a man of many talents, but his greatest was teaching. He loved music, cigars, and the show Seinfeld. He enriched every life he touched with his humor and his heart.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:00 am in the Lineberry Center at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, located at 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC.
